About
I am fascinated by the mind and how it works, motivated to understand others, priviledged to be a part of people's journey and honored to be a witness to their pain. I love what I do and feel incredibly grateful I get to do something I love. I am passionate about evidence-based, high quality mental healthcare and the science behind what can help someone be well. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy just as everyone can benefit from exercising the body. The mind needs a coach just as our bodies need a coach. We can need an expert to help us heal whether we have sustained a traumatic injury or we are at the top of our game and want to continue to grow. I practice the tools I teach like mindfulness, meditation, DBT skills, loving-kindness, and radical openness and I am a fallible human that is imperfect at all of them.
